During my recent stay at Le San Lorenzo in Porto-Vecchio, I was enchanted by the peaceful ambiance and the beautiful views from my private balcony, which truly felt like a Parisian fashionista’s escape. The hotel's outdoor swimming pool and lush gardens provided a lovely backdrop for relaxation, although I must admit that I didn't immerse myself in the pool experience this time. The breakfast buffet offered a delightful spread, and it was a nice surprise to discover that I could order fresh eggs, adding a touch of culinary finesse to my morning routine, though I wish I had found this out sooner in my three-day stay. While the hotel's 24-hour reception staff were friendly, my experience was somewhat marred by air conditioning issues, which were unfortunate given the Corsican heat; a small discount was offered after some negotiation, but it felt like a necessary inconvenience. Le San Lorenzo is a delightful hotel with well-appointed rooms, including necessary comforts like free Wi-Fi and a minibar, making it a charming base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Corsica. I would love to revisit with friends or fellow creatives, where we can better appreciate everything this stylish retreat has to offer.
